The MENTOR (Multimedia EducatioNal Technology for Operational Research) group is a non-profit making organisation which produces teaching and learning resources. They take the form of a comprehensive range of computer based learning modules to be used in higher education teaching. Each module concentrates on a different OR/MS topic and uses a hypermedia system incorporating hypertext, graphics, animation, video, interactive exercises, self assessment quizzes and application software. Students learn actively by their own investigation of the system, at their own pace, in their own time and in a style which matches their personal learning style. Delegates visiting the MENTOR exhibition stand will have the opportunity to see the system for themselves and try out the facilities and features available on-line. They can also attend the software demo session held at the conference for a detailed demonstration of the system.
